bounty

I harvested some broccoli today from my garden.

After rain, after freezing temps, after snow,

I was surprised to find so much perfect for the picking

we steamed it up for dinner, licking our lips for more

thankfully we haven’t yet pulled up the garden

and so partook again of nature’s bounty
